LOVE this color palette generator!! This design link actually ties into why I’ve been MIA for a while - I’ve been crazy busy planning my wedding and in the midst of it have become absolutely enamored with Pinterest as an inspiration board/planning platform. Saw this link on there today and I’ll be sure to use it for both wedding and website planning (<3)!

The beast has awoken. I’m back in design mode and last week’s Mashable article on Typography Resources inspired me to search for even more resources than the ones listed there. So, a few others:

This post is more about two sites than one.
First off, there’s COLOURlovers, which is a fantastic site where you can browse thousands of inspiring prints to inform your color design needs, create your own, get feedback on your designs and interact with other designers.

There are some great tools to create your own palettes or patterns and you can even browse by different channels, such as
business,
craft,
web, or
wedding.
The second site is
Spoonflower, which is an awesome on-demand fabric printer, to let you print any patterns you’ve created on high-quality fabric. Spoonflower features no minimum order size, prices ranging from $18-$32 per yard, $5 swatches, premium natural fabrics, eco-friendly textile printing and international shipping.

Projects this fine duo could be perfect for:
- custom seat cushions
- custom drapes
- custom reusable gift wrap
- custom fabric for creating little ugly-doll-type-creatures
- custom fabric for clothes (it’s just like Project Runway!)
If you could create your own fabric, what would you use it for?
